Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whos sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.
In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.
As this symbol of human hope spread accross the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign BANNED. What we then witness is the true spirit of humanity come together in what can only be described as awe inspiring.

How wonderful to read about your Free Hugs Event. This year, I created International Hug Week which takes place from 1 - 7 May every year. It would be fantastic if you were to organise a similar event to coincide with International Hug Week in 2009.

I was at the Hug week celebration with Debra and several other huggers (the number grew throughout the event)and it was a brilliant experience. Very many people came over for hugs
ReplyDeleteand left with smiles on their faces. Many also passed the hugs on to others.
I hope your event is as well-received as it's a marvellous thing to do.
